Antique solid wood bureau, unique piece

Antique furniture of Asian origin, made of solid wood and marked by a deeply eroded patina that reveals the passage of time with a raw and authentic beauty.

Its structure combines a storage base with a framed double door and interior shelf, along with an open upper body supported by curved sides, a subtle gesture that brings lightness and character to the piece. The surfaces show worn layers, chromatic variations and traces of use that make every centimetre an expression of history.

Compact and forceful at the same time, this bureau does not respond to a classic typology, but to an honest and functional way of doing things, typical of Chinese rural furniture at the beginning of the twentieth century.
