A warm and comfortable décor in pink and black

Today we travel to the town of Stavern, in Norway to visit a house brimming with warmth and comfort. Its interiors full of natural light, dressed with natural materials; They coexist perfectly with pink and black details. A perfect combination to create a unique home full of personality.

The house we are visiting today is a detached house from 1910, of about 360m2 located in the center of Stavern. Before the current owners moved in, it was completely renovated: floors, ceilings, windows, walls; preserving the original round windows of the house, as well as the interior doors.

These original construction details add a plus of personality to each of the rooms of the house.

After the renovation, it was decided to create totally neutral environments, where white is the main protagonist in walls, ceilings and carpentry; that next to the new natural wood floor; They enhance the natural light of the house and allow you to create spacious, warm and cozy environments.

As for the decoration, the mixtures are the main protagonists, antique pieces that coexist perfectly with designer furniture; Nordic-style furniture that shares prominence with others in a bohemian or retro style; elements acquired on trips; contrasts of materials, finishes and colours.

These mixtures (which we are often afraid to integrate into our own decorations) are the key for a home to become a space that speaks of oneself, unique and personal. 

At the time of decorating the house, the family was clear that they wanted to flee from the white and gray binomial; so characteristic in Nordic style decorations. For this reason, they chose to add delicate notes of color in pale pink that contrasted and complemented with black details.

The final result, environments that speak for themselves, full of elegance, style and personality.
