Turn your hallway into a great bookcase!

Sometimes the corridors of the houses are soulless, deserted and we are almost afraid to pass through them. But if you have  a long corridor and, in addition, it has a grateful width, don't think twice, create a large bookcase in it.

A well-used, functional and very intellectual passage area, so that the whole family can collect your favourite readings there.

 Notice! A bookcase can not only contain books, it can serve as storage for our CDs, place vases, small sculptures, etc... I'm sure that once you have achieved your bookcase, you will no longer feel that loneliness when you cross the corridor.

Custom-made or with finished modules and furniture

We can opt for custom-made bookcases, if we can this is the best solution, the one that will best use the space in our hallway. We can build different shelves, with different heights and even with different holes to delimit what we are going to place.

If we cannot make it to measure then we can choose ready-made modules, especially if we have a corridor of good width, if this is not the case it is better to opt for shelves to place on the wall, at different heights. We can also place the shelves asymmetrically to create volume and dynamism in the bookcase.

We can even improvise a more modest bookcase if our space is limited, we can place a wooden bench in the hallway and use it as a bookcase.

What length do we need?

If our corridor is wider than usual, logically our bookcase will be much better integrated. The normal thing is to have a 90cm aisle, to be able to place shelves with a depth of 25cm, we would need a minimum aisle width of 1.15m, otherwise, the passage through it would be very uncomfortable.
