Whatever their design and position, the truth is that they are one of the trends that have been going strong and one of those trends that, in addition to being decorative fashion, are functional and fundamental pieces in any home.

The most innovative trend is that of open shelves, those that allow us to browse in someone else's house, since they leave everything in sight and something that, therefore, forces us to be especially careful when choosing other accessories, such as boxes, baskets, filing cabinets, kitchen jars, etc. This is something that some people may not like so much, but it is undoubtedly a 'low cost' way to decorate with style and, if we have everything clean and tidy, there is nothing to fear. In addition, it will be much easier for us to remember what we store in each place. :)

Kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, hall, living room, there is no room that is free to make use of open shelves and, depending on the room, the decorative style and the space we have, we can choose some formats or others. 

In the children's bedroom we can opt for more original shelves such as Nordic-inspired houses in different colors and sizes, in the kitchen elongated wooden or white shelves are one of the best options. In the living room we can opt for shelves on sideboards, which make a visual effect of a complete piece or opt for  narrow shelves, which are very fashionable to use as a bookcase, in them we can place books and magazines, paintings, illustrations... In the bathroom, to achieve a more practical use of our shelves, we can complete them with wicker baskets and inside them store bottles of gel, toilet paper, towels...
