Total White, a fresh and bright home

In a building in the upper area of Barcelona there was this disabled and old house that the interior designer Bárbara Aurell knew how to revive and give it a completely new and fresh air. 

The first thing was to throw everything away to start from scratch and on a white canvas start "weaving" this 150 square meter floor where it finally arrives with all its splendor and use. Walls, ceilings and floors in pure  white parquet as well as much of the chosen furniture.

We can say when looking at these photos that their owners are eclectic and daring for the interior design, where there are pieces that stand out for their bright colors and the mix of different styles, two key factors for an interior of this style. 

In addition to the fact that its owners wanted a lot of white in their new apartment, they also wanted a spacious and large kitchen, where the interior designer, as if it were an "aladdin" granted its owners.

Copper, white and wood are the kings of this kitchen, three materials that together are synonymous with youthful elegance.

Wonderful floors that intermingle with parquet, an increasingly growing trend so that the change of two materials is not so radical and merges one with the other so that the transition of these materials is gradual and above all original.

The dining room takes a successful risk  by mixing furniture such as retro-style chairs upholstered in matte velvet in different colours together with Woven  wicker chairs or vintage lamps with different coloured crystals hanging above the round table.

A beautiful dining room with views of the outside with access to the terrace, how wonderful to be able to enjoy eating from views like this!

 Here the small balcony has been made the most of with this "L" shaped bench and cushions to make it more comfortable

The bathroom is especially to my liking; I think it is very wise to take advantage of this elongated shape that it has to place a dressing room.

The materials here are a hit (again) wall coverings such as the beveled square tile and the original black and white mosaic floor play perfectly with the faucets in golden tones giving sparkle to this well-distributed bathroom.
