Get your bikinis and swimsuits ready, grab a towel, some glasses and a good hat because today we travel to the city of Trancoso, in Brazil, famous for its white beaches, natural pools and reefs. There we have found Casa Lola, a spectacular little house that receives that name in honor of the youngest of the family, daughter of an American and a Dutchman who have demonstrated, more than enough, their good taste.
A few days of vacation in the city were enough for the three of them to fall completely in love with it and decide that it would be there, surrounded by paradisiacal beaches and tropical nature where from that moment on they would escape from the hustle and bustle of New York, the city in which they live. Its façade already suggests many things to us... Let's go and see it!

Those who live in the area entrust local artisans with the task of imbuing their homes with the native lifestyle. The owners of Casa Lola were not going to be less. This house makes us feel the beauty of imperfection, of handwork. Each piece manufactured is unique. Imperfect but at the same time perfect. Look, for example, at the woods, the prominence they have and how they are worked. If we add to this the vintage objects and accessories that have been rescued from markets in different parts of the world, the result is exquisite. Every detail is chosen very carefully. Be amazed by the spectacular bathtub and the shower made with a log.

The house had an area but they wanted to build a new one. The result was one dedicated to the master suites and another to the common rooms and service area. What separates the two is a small terrace with a beautiful swimming pool. The two areas are completely open to the outside thanks to their large windows. Who wouldn't like to look out over the inn and have these views?

Aged wood, ceramics, burnt cement flooring and furniture mark the traditional and rustic style of the house. Earth colors permeate everything, bringing tranquility and serenity. A few ethnic touches bring some color, color and give a boho air that we love. The simplicity in the decoration makes this house an elegant place. Casa Lola takes a 10. How much would you like to spend a few days of retreat within its walls?
