Today we travel to the heart of the Marais, in Paris, to show you a surprising renovation of a 78m2 apartment. A most surprising before and after with a final result full of personality, style and character. Will you join us?

The renovation consisted, not so much in a comprehensive reform, but in finding the origins of the house and capturing it in the new decoration. The old interior communications have been reopened, just as in the process it was discovered that under the floating floor there was a tiled floor. These tiles have served as a common thread for the new aesthetics of the apartment.

The project was based on the basis of giving timelessness to the house, that is, giving the feeling that everything had always been like this; so following the latest trends in decoration was not a feasible idea.

For the renovation, it has been decided to use a base in neutral tones: cream, gray and taupe. This allows you to create an impartial canvas where any furniture and decorative element that is added will stand out and take center stage.

Creating timeless environments is not synonymous with an impersonal interior. The colourful accessories, wallpapers and vintage-style furniture speak of the owner's tastes, personality and identity.

In the renovation of this apartment, the different original ceiling heights of the building have been deliberately maintained. If you look at the high ceilings of the bedrooms and bathroom, they contrast with the low ceiling of the kitchen. These plays of volumes and dimensions help to create and provide a greater sense of spaciousness to the new home.

The final result is a home full of soul and personality, environments that transmit warmth and comfort in equal parts. Don't you think?
