Low Cost outdoor furniture with pallets, for the terrace or garden

In previous posts we have shared DIY inspiration with pallets to create 'Low Cost' furniture and decorative elements and with which to give a different touch to our home, because today, with the same raw material and with the same maxim (spend as little as possible), I bring you inspiration to make our own outdoor furniture: benches, tables, hammocks and beds in the open air...

With pallets we can create the base of the main outdoor furniture and thus, with a few simple cushions, mats, cushions... And decorative accessories around, we will achieve totally exclusive, fresh, cozy and very comfortable spaces.

If we are looking for a Mediterranean atmosphere in our garden, porch or terrace typical of the summer houses that captivate us so much in places like Ibiza, with that boho atmosphere that invites you to relax, pallets are a great idea, with them we can play, combine and create pieces of different sizes, with different functions and also totally neutral. so that we can give them the air we want, for example dress our pallet bed with ethnic prints or we can choose to use white tones to create an effect of more clarity... Decorate with lights such as garlands, chandeliers or candles... We can place plants and flowers around it to increase that feeling of freshness and wild spirit that those of us who are cloistered in big cities are looking for all year round.

Relaxation areas

Who would have imagined that they could create their own hotel suite bed outside their home? Well, with a few simple pallets, a mat, some cushions and little else, we can enjoy a relaxing space like these that I show you. Ideally, if we are looking for a space to rest, take a nap or read, we should opt for neutral or soft colours, ochre, pastel, white... And if it is more of a meeting space, or a recreation area, then we can opt for more striking prints and colors.

Side tables or dining area

For these cases we can create both the tables and the seats with the pallets, we can choose auxiliary tables, lower and higher, stacking more pallets and that we can eat on them.

Seating: benches and sofas

One of the most common pieces when using pallets for the outdoors are benches, why?, because they give us the option to create many seats, we can take advantage of a large wall on which to create a continuous bench and get more seats than if we created them individually.
