A space to live and work with a story to tell

Rome was not made in a day. In the same way, a home is not made from one day to the next. It requires time and patience to, little by little, give each space the perfect piece, learning from what the house and its inhabitants need.

The home of Lucía and José, a couple living in Valencia, has caught our attention. This 120m2 apartment is eclectic and full of details, strewn with elements collected in their multiple trips around the world, memories that accompany them in their day to day. This house is also their workplace, both are dedicated to the creation of videos for advertising and weddings, can you imagine a better place to unleash creativity?

The most remarkable thing at first glance is the large amount of natural light it has and that is reflected on the white, white walls, as a perfect canvas for the decoration chosen by this Valencian couple. They have been influenced by interior design magazines, but with great pleasure. Vintage elements, here and there, pieces collected on their travels, the beautiful hydraulic slab floor... All the parts joined together offer an interesting contrast that we cannot stop looking at.

The objects tell their own story and that is important to them, such as the cactus neon in the living room, her favorite piece and made especially for them by José's uncle or the daguerreotype taken at a flea market in Los Angeles, his favorite.

A touch of the 50s with the mythical yellow Acapulco chair, which combines perfectly with the letters from a toy store bought in an old market or the DIY lamp that they created themselves with some branches collected on a rainy day, are an example that nothing is there at random.

The large windows of the house let the sun pass illuminating this splendid space that Lucía and José have created for them and that will always be under construction, adapting to their day to day, telling their story and their new experiences.
