Although it may seem like mission impossible, you have a wide range of solutions to make your bathroom (even if it is small) look like no other. For this it is important that you take into account the dimensions and shape of your bathroom, this will help you achieve the perfect distribution.

Bathroom layouts that make the most of space

#1 Square Floor Plan Bathroom

If you have a square bathroom, a good alternative to gain storage is to place a narrow piece of furniture in front of the door where you can place the sink. This way you can store all the products and utensils that you use the most daily. 

The bathtub or shower (depending on your preferences and dimensions) should go on the opposite wall to where the door is located, and next to it you should place the toilet, in front of the sink. For bathroom accessories, we recommend that you opt for a minimalist style so as not to overload the space more than necessary.

#2 Rectangular bathroom

In this case, it is best to place the sink at the entrance, the toilet behind, and at the back the shower or bathtub. Decoration will be key to creating a cozy atmosphere. 

The only bad thing about this layout is that if your bathroom is very narrow, you can only take advantage of one of the walls to place the furniture and toilets; otherwise, you won't be able to pass comfortably.

#3 Two-room bathroom

At first glance this option seems perfect for large bathrooms, but it is not. In small bathrooms you can achieve this by placing a partition next to the sink that divides the space into two rooms.

And how to distribute toilets? Very simple, in the entrance area place the sink, next to it build the partition (this can be used to store things). Against this partition, put the shower or bathtub, and in front of it, the toilet and bidet.

With this distribution you still have the walls free to place some shelves if you see it necessary.

#4 U-shaped bathroom

This option if your bathroom is wide enough is the most recommended, as it allows you to make the most of the space. The trick is to place the shower or bathtub behind the door leaf, and hide the toilet behind it as well. On the opposite wall you place the sink and a bathroom cabinet.

With this distribution, the central space of the bathroom will be free to move around comfortably.
