Making good use of space and making the most of each of the corners of our home is one of the laws that would head, if it existed, the "manual of perfect decoration". Scratching a few meters is always an opportunity to dedicate them to a new function. And if there is a part of the house that is perfect to meet these premises of taking advantage of space/creating a new area, it is, without a doubt, a room that is in many houses: closed balconies or galleries.

They are bright, they stay warm during the day but, above all, they are really interesting to turn them into an extra and useful space. So... Clear and relocate the junk you have stored there because we proceed to tell you what you can turn your closed balcony into.

#1. Study area

In one of our posts we talked about how important it is to have a little study corner in our homes. But since not all of us have enough space, we gave you ideas and inspiration for a mini-office. Well, an enclosed balcony offers the perfect solution to this problem, as it will offer you enough space to place a table, a comfortable chair, your books and computer. Your study area will thus have its own space, it will be isolated from the traffic and noise of the rest of the home and will have the natural light you need.

#2. Happiness zone

We call the zone of happiness the one we dedicate to doing the things that fill us with it. Painting, sewing, music... we all have our hobby that makes us happy! How about adapting your balcony to this?

#3. Relaxation area

Planters with beautiful plants, a comfortable armchair and dim lights for the night can be enough to create an intimate, quiet and relaxed space. In it we can dedicate ourselves to the latest book that has fallen into our hands, have a warm cup of coffee or simply spend time with ourselves in a most comfortable environment.

#4. Integrated room

Finally, a recurring option (in cases where it is possible to do so) is to integrate the balcony as an extension of the room in which it is located, whether it is the kitchen, the living room or a bedroom. It is a good way to multiply the space and make the most of natural light.
