Authenticity in a Parisian apartment

Today we travel to Paris to show you the final result of the renovation of a 72m2 apartment. A work that has allowed us to recover the charm and authenticity of this house. Do you want to see it?

Before the renovation, this apartment was an unappetizing space, full of dark wood in ceilings and floors, walls in beige tones and heavy, dark and somewhat old-fashioned furniture.

The renovation is signed by the company Lions Paris and part of their work has consisted of updating, modernizing and bringing light to this dark apartment. With excellent interior design work they have managed to recover the charm and authenticity of the house.

The original layout of the house has been maintained, modifying some spaces to add functionality and practicality to the home.

White is the main protagonist of this transformation, the old wooden ceilings have been painted in this tone, as well as the walls. The old wooden parquet has been replaced by a new one in a natural finish and worn look.

In some of the rooms of the apartment, such as the hall, the old tiles have been replaced by hydraulic flooring in white, gray and black tones. This detail allows you to add modernity and light to the new home.

As for the floors, in the bedroom areas it has been decided to dress the floors with carpets (made of natural fibres or wool) to create a more harmonious whole.

The old kitchen with pine furniture and tiled worktops, has been opened to the living room space. For the new design, straight-lined furniture in a gray finish has been used, with white tops and details. 

As for the decoration, mixtures have been chosen. Furniture with straight and simple lines coexist perfectly with vintage-style pieces and ethnic details; in which white, black, natural woods and some subtle notes of color in green and orange allow you to add a personal and unique touch to the apartment.
