Art and style in a mansard attic

Swedes won't know about anything else, but when it comes to decorating interiors, they don't really do it badly. That is why today a Scandinavian apartment is once again the protagonist of our blog, 154 square meters in a sloping attic.

Sophistication, avant-garde and art coexist with the comfort, delicacy and luminosity that can be appreciated in this home. It is an apartment with rather geometric lines, due to the attic shape of the ceiling and the straight finish of the furniture.

We like how they combine decorative elements from different cultures: the colorful paintings on the walls, the chandeliers on the terrace, the wooden statue in the bathroom...

The living room is very spacious and the kitchen is integrated into it, the floor combines mahogany wood and black tiles. The bathroom follows the same harmony and the wood and black tile are maintained, both on the floor and on the wall and furniture.

The Eames chairs could not be missing, a classic.

Bathroom is sophistication and elegance, whichever way you look at it.

The conclusion we can draw from this interior is that there are no secrets to creating an attractive, functional and cozy space, the key is to know which style we identify with best and choose 3 or 4 elements that will be the axis on which the rest of the decoration will revolve. Thus, in this beautiful penthouse, we identify 4 elements that are the ones that have all the strength of the house.

4 Basic Elements

The note of color is undoubtedly provided by the numerous paintings and photographs hanging on the walls and the accessories placed in every corner of the house, including the bathroom that has been converted into a showroom with that kind of altar above the toilet.
4.- The terrace.
You only have to see it, small details such as the planter basket with painted base, very characteristic of the Nordic style, which make us want every day to be spring to spend hours and hours out there.
