Today we go to Barcelona's Eixample to visit a surprising renovation of a mini apartment carried out by Dröm Living. The house is rather small, measuring about 80m2, but this did not prevent the interior design studio Dröm Living from creating a home that transmits calm, calm and warmth.

The renovation consisted of creating a practical and functional home, while preserving the original charm of the house. So part of the reform was based on giving a new soul to the apartment.
The Nordic style is the main protagonist of the new image, maintaining the essence of the building. White walls, high ceilings, slightly dark natural wood flooring; they allow you to create a neutral, calm base; at the same time, it is very welcoming.

For the new house, they chose to use wooden carpentry, imitating the old windows; In this way, they avoided introducing aluminum in the new construction.

One of the keys to the new distribution and design of the house was that it was functional. To this end, the location and distribution of the old kitchen was preserved. An open, sober and small room; so it was decided to use the right and necessary elements. Can't find her a "kitchen cucada"?

The hole in front of the kitchen is where the new dining room was designed. A perfect solution to make better use of space; in addition to giving a plus of functionality to the new home.
The dining room receives natural light thanks to a hole that opened in the wall that separates the living room from the dining room. The frame was painted black to give a masculine touch to the decoration. The result, a dining room full of style and warmth.

In the gallery space (typical of the buildings of the Eixample) is where a mini workspace was located. Furniture with straight, simple lines and where white is the main protagonist; They allow you to make the most of the space and create a work area where you benefit from the natural light of the home.

The master bedroom is a small room, but full of warmth. When lining the wall of the headboard in wood; It adds a sense of comfort to the space. It was decided to use just the right and necessary furniture so as not to overload the decoration. The final result, a bedroom that invites calm and relaxation.

For the children's space, it was decided to design custom-made bunk beds and a small work area. Once again, style and functionality prevail in this renovation.
What do you think of the new design of this mini flat?
