Interior designer Lara Pujol is responsible for this renovation and comprehensive rehabilitation. The first thing he did was to go from the existing six floors (only two meters high) to five. To do this, it was necessary to modify all the interior slabs, from the roof to the façades. For the new design, we opted for floors that were as diaphanous as possible

The house has 140m2 distributed in a very peculiar way. The access to the house is on the ground floor, where there is a spacious living room and a storage room with the laundry room. On the first floor, a spectacular kitchen with dining area and a small bathroom was designed. The second floor has a cozy living room with fireplace and a small bedroom. The third floor is where the master bedroom was located, with a dressing room and a full bathroom. The mezzanine was used to create a work area. The staircase retains its original location, becoming the central axis of the house.

As for the coatings, white paint and original exposed stone were combined on the walls that could be recovered. The floor is polished concrete that is combined with hydraulic tiles in some areas to mark the step. On the ceilings, the ceramic vaults and metal joists stand out.

The kitchen was designed around a large island on which the cooking surface is located. The furniture is in white satin lacquer that is combined with natural wood details.

Eclecticism is also present in the decoration of the kitchen, where avant-garde pieces, rustic pieces, vintage and even some antiques are mixed.

The shutters, painted in sage green, stand out even more in contrast to the white walls. To create warm and welcoming environments, plain and striped textiles were used in the same range of colours.

A dressing area was created behind the bed. The two rooms are separated by a custom-made piece of furniture, which does not reach the ceiling, and at the same time serves as a headboard.

In the bathroom, it has been decided to use hydraulic tiles in order to highlight small spaces, such as the washbasin area or the shower corner.
