DIY Hanging plants to decorate differently

I'm sure that if I talk about plants and pots hanging from ropes to decorate, it reminds you a bit of the village houses, the houses of your grandparents... Well, yes, this way of placing plants has been fashionable for years and now this trend is being reinvented so that we can use it in our homes, which are much more modern, minimalist and have nothing to do with the decoration of our grandparents' house. :)
We have two options, buy supports to suspend the plants or create them, since there are a lot of DIY's to build our own supports and get the most original and aesthetic hanging plants.
Why hang plants?
In addition to being an original and fun alternative, I think it is also a cleaner way to place plants in our home, many times we do not know where to place them and when space is scarce it is difficult to choose a corner or a table on which to place flowers and we end up not putting them when they are super necessary to bring color and freshness to the home.
By hanging our pots we will avoid occupying other spaces in the house that we can use for more functional things and, in addition, we will avoid dirtying tables or furniture with soil, dry leaves and water from watering them.
Which plants to choose?
Although there are countless varieties ideal for hanging pots, there are some more appropriate because they are the most common due to their easy conditions to develop.
Gypsy
It is also known as ivy geranium. It requires pruning after winter and does not tolerate the cold.
Maidenhair
It is a rhizomatous fern with light green fronds. It needs to be very hydrated and it is important to keep it away from drafts.
Potos
Its beautiful heart-shaped leaves and green with yellow undertones make this plant one of the most chosen for homes. It needs copious but spaced watering. Not recommended for cold places.
Tradescantia
This plant is known as the Love of Man. It is a fast-growing specimen. Its watering should be moderate in summer and scarce in winter.
Ivy
It is a perennial climber with a woody stem. It is very sensitive to aphids, so it requires regular insecticide spraying. The lack of light will make their stems weak.
Cactus
They hardly need care, they do not detach leaves so they are clean and they also exist in various and curious shapes, something that will benefit the aesthetics of the room where we place them.
Ideas DIY
If we are good at crafts and we choose to make our own hangers, there are many tutorials on the net to guide us, from pieces of leather, old belts, cardboard... That we can use or recycle to create our supports and hangers. Below I have selected some of the ideas that have caught my attention the most because they are original and, above all, beautiful. :)

Ropes and cords of different colors, taking into account the decoration of the room to combine and contrast coherently.
Metal hangers
Other more elaborate options but that with skill and patience we can achieve, such as these metal supports.
Glass containers.
Fish tanks, jars, vases, salad bowls... Anything goes if we know how to take advantage of it and its most aesthetic and decorative side.
Restoration and recycling
We can recycle old wicker baskets or other original containers such as colored strainers... And use them as a planter.
