Many times imagination can give us the solution to the challenges that we face in decoration and interior design. And a good example of this is this cozy two-storey house located in Barcelona's Poble Nou neighborhood.

And how would you feel if I told you that in this wonderful house with a Mediterranean air, there used to be a gloomy garage?
Well, yes, but thanks to the imagination and good work of its owner, it has been converted into the cozy and summery house that it is today and, as he says, with a very tight budget.

The ground floor has been chosen to create the bedroom area, a living area and two bathrooms and on the first floor an open space has been created, which gives a feeling of spaciousness, where the living room, dining room, kitchen and terrace with jacuzzi live in harmony.
The central axis of the decoration is functionality, if you look at the terrace, as there is very little space between the pool and the sofa, furniture with multidisciplinary functions has been chosen, a bench that serves as a side table, a cushion that serves as a seat or footrest... And the style is inspired by the area, since the beach is close to the home, which is why turquoise colors are present in most rooms. Recovered, vintage-inspired furniture and others with a rustic air that provide that comfortable and familiar touch that we always look for in our homes.
