Before Norway snatched the job from it this year, Denmark was, according to the UN, the happiest country in the world. This was due to the country's priority of ensuring the common welfare. It is the word that encompasses theset of attitudes, ways of life, scenarios, etc., that makes Danes feel good, at ease, calm, with family and that allows them to enjoy the small pleasures of life. In Denmark it is experienced as a lifestyle and, if there is a place where you can experience the magic of Hygge the most, it is undoubtedly in your own home. So, it has acquired great strength and importance in decoration. Interior design and decoration, in addition to seeking the functionality and aesthetics of a space, is vital to transmit emotions, feelings and provoke moods.

The Danes have been able to adapt the Scandinavian style to create their own Danish hygge style, loaded with elements, textiles and color palettes that are cozy and warm.
