Lighting for charming evening soirees

When the sun goes down, our desire to take to the streets in search of plans multiplies. And sometimes we forget that our terrace can become another option to make one of these plans. To make it more appealing to stay in it, do you know what element is essential to play with? With lighting. In addition to being a very important element in decoration, it is the one that has enough magic to create incredible atmospheres. Here are some tips to achieve it ;)

#1. Illuminates at low intensity

Our first tip is to avoid intense lighting. Especially if your terrace space is limited.  On the other hand, a dim and soft light will always bring privacy and warmth. How do we advise you to get it? Filtering the light from your lamps through more opaque shades, such as paper ones, or directly looking for low-intensity bulbs.

#2. Use candles

A candle is even more of a candle when it is used to illuminate outdoor nights, don't you think? For this reason, they are our preferred option to create an atmosphere full of romanticism, warmth and a lot of charm.

Place them on the floor to create a more boho look or on the windowsill or railing for a more linear and chic look. If you're afraid to keep them on, don't worry! You can do many things with them, such as putting them in glass jars.  And finally, for a dinner we advise you to try some scented candles.

#3. Street lamps and lanterns

Another option to show off candles safely is to put them inside lanterns or lanterns. We love them because they bring a touch of mystery and elegance perfect for the evenings.

#4. Garlands

We move on to the most versatile option of all. And, the most fashionable. They come in all sizes, shapes and colors. Our first choices are paper balls or bare bulbs, which will create the same effect as candles. You can use them for the ceiling, for the wall, to surround furniture, plants or even to recreate curtains or canopies.

#5. Dare to mix them all

As you can see, there are multiple options. Why not dare to try several of them? The eclectic style is very fashionable. Avoid homogeneity!
