Pastel colours to brighten up our kitchen

A stylish, cheerful and bright kitchen is not a matter of space, much less economy. I'm sure you already know that I say that 'less is more, I prefer minimal, cozy but uncluttered decoration, I like open spaces, light, white... And in the kitchen it was not going to be otherwise, in a place where we spend so much time we need to feel at ease, we need space, light and comfort.
In order not to make a mistake and choose trends in the kitchen that can tire us over the years, my advice is that we always opt for white, then we can play with the countertop, appliances and with the rest of the accessories and details, these will be the ones that make the difference. Here, without a doubt, we can take a risk and choose less conventional chromatic ranges, such as pastel tones, which return every season to fill kitchens and other rooms in the home with vitality.
Maybe if we are not used to it, pastel pink, light blue, mint... Let's relate them to children's decoration, but not at all.
Pastel colors bring a lot of light and combine perfectly with natural wood, with blacks, grays and of course on white.
A very fun idea is to introduce tableware in pastel colors or choose some appliances in these tones such as the fridge, coffee maker, toaster... We can also opt for cutlery, cups and furniture such as cupboards, chairs and stools, wooden benches... They are cheerful and bright colors and this, believe it or not, affects our mood, so if the kitchen is your escape route or your therapy against stress, much better if you have elements full of vitality around you that lift your mood.
