It is not necessary to go to the countryside to create an atmosphere, whether you have a terrace or a patio you can create your own picnic and enjoy a day of the most rural and natural. Place a large blanket on the floor, on it a low wooden table or a large basket from which each diner can take their necessary supplies for lunch, decorate with flowers and throw cushions around it so that everyone feels comfortable. Lighting
We already know that summer days are long and the hours of sunshine last longer, but when we are comfortable we tend to extend the meals and end with a snack-dinner, that's how it is! That is why we should not neglect artificial lighting, opt for a dim and warm light that does not attract mosquitoes. Place candles, I would recommend that they were not aromatic because they are not very pleasant if mixed with the smells of the food.
You can also place chandeliers hanging from the branches of a tree, if you have a small plot or garden or garlands of lights along the railing of a balcony.
