Now that the good weather is here, it's time to spruce up our balconies, terraces, porches, plots, or whatever bit we have to enjoy the outdoors.
The most important thing before getting into the decoration is to be aware of the space we have. Currently there are almost infinite options when it comes to outdoor furniture. The key is to choose according to our tastes and, of course, to make the most of the space, we can also select other dressings, accessories such as garlands, pennants, flowers... With which to introduce a different note and make our lunch, breakfast and summer dinner corner an exclusive, stylish and welcoming space.
If we manage to create a design, modern and pleasant space, we will enjoy our people and the great moments like never before, because we already know that these are always celebrated around a good meal. And if you're like me, loyal breakfast lovers, you'll be looking forward to starting a new day to enjoy your improved outdoor space.

Here is a very inspiring gallery and I give you some keys to make our outdoor corner perfect:

Flowers and plants

If your case is a terrace or balcony add color with pots and pots with seasonal flowers, it is also very fashionable to have your own urban garden, there are different sizes, so if you like gardening and organic food, do not hesitate to have a little corner to grow your own tomatoes.

Textiles in bright colours and prints.

It incorporates cushions and pillows to create comfort spaces, a space for reading or for naps is ideal when the weather is good. Bright tones fill us with vitality and bring light, take advantage of the fact that ethnic and tribal style is trendy and fill your outdoor corner with energy. Another option to get right is pastel tones, both in textiles and accessories (crockery, cutlery, tablecloths...).
Tablecloths are also essential to create a pleasant and appetizing dining space. Choose bright shades and easy-to-clean materials. Decide how you want your food to be to choose the print and style of your tablecloth (rustic, ethnic, Ibiza, boho inspiration...).

Comfort

There is nothing worse than having a meal and feeling uncomfortable, either because the seat is not the most comfortable thing in the world, or because we do not get to the food easily, etc. If our space allows us we must choose a table and chairs that are no more and no less than comfortable, to achieve this the key is to place cushions on the seat and backrest. After this we can decide the style we want, but it is best to opt for natural and cheerful materials and tones, and easy to clean. And of course a material that does not suffer too much from atomospheric inconveniences.

In the shade of the pines.

Don't forget to create shadow areas!! At lunchtime no one wants the sun to hit them full, if this happens to someone you will make their food bitter. Look for the solution that best suits your space, an umbrella, an awning, a porch covered by a vine... Or if not, design different spaces, always placing the lunch table in the shade or indoors.

Let's go on a picnic!

It is not necessary to go to the countryside to create an atmosphere, whether you have a terrace or a patio you can create your own picnic and enjoy a day of the most rural and natural. Place a large blanket on the floor, on it a low wooden table or a large basket from which each diner can take their necessary supplies for lunch, decorate with flowers and throw cushions around it so that everyone feels comfortable. The key is to define the style and opt for the same chromatic range to decorate.

Lighting

We already know that summer days are long and the hours of sunshine last longer, but when we are comfortable we tend to extend the meals and end with a snack-dinner, that's how it is! That is why we should not neglect artificial lighting, opt for a dim and warm light that does not attract mosquitoes. Place candles, I would recommend that they were not aromatic because they are not very pleasant if mixed with the smells of the food.
You can also place chandeliers hanging from the branches of a tree, if you have a small plot or garden or garlands of lights along the railing of a balcony.

More ideas in case you are lucky enough to have a piece of balcony, a patio or a rooftop!
