In this blog we always try to show you the best of Nordic decoration and that means often moving to Copenhagen, where the most impressive Scandinavian-style houses are located, obviously.

But what if you hadn't read the title of the post, you just started looking at the photos in this article, guessed the location of this charming house? I bet many of us would think that this is another house on the outskirts of the Danish capital, but no! We are located just a few kilometres from the centre of Barcelona...

Five minutes from the Gracia neighbourhood is this beautiful and simple house

A minimalist decoration of Nordic inspiration and that, due to its dimensions, since it is 270m2 of home, we could perfectly believe that it is a house from the Scandinavian countries and not a purely Spanish property.

One of the most attractive things about this house is its spectacular garden with a swimming pool, a real privilege, considering that we are almost in the centre of Barcelona. A totally Nordic air in all the rooms, a consequence of the neutral and soft colours chosen and the austerity when choosing the furniture, all of them Nordic-inspired and minimalist lines.

High ceilings, large windows and access to the terrace from the living room, which makes outdoor and indoor merge and make much more use of outdoor life, enjoying the good weather in Barcelona throughout the year. A minimalist fireplace and very basic elements, almost all of them are exclusively placed to offer us a storage service and, in this way, leave nothing accessory in sight.

The children's bedrooms are the only rooms that have a more ornate decoration and bright colours that break with the chromatic harmony of the rest of the house.

Peace and tranquility are breathed in every corner

Undoubtedly, the keys to Nordic decoration are fully put into practice in this house located a few kilometers from the center of Barcelona, which means that we do not need to move to a colder climate to enjoy a home in the purest Nordic style.
